RUTH KALBITZER focuses her practice on estate planning, trust and estate administration, as well as on corporate and real estate transaction. As such, she drafts complex estate planning documents and assists our clients in implementing small business plans, including formation and succession plans.
Ruth is admitted to the New Jersey and New York State Bars. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association – Real Property Trust and Estate Law Section.
Before joining Edward Wacks & Associates, LLC, Ruth worked as an in-house counsel for the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation where she focused on commercial real estate transactions, and as an associate for one of New York City’s premier law firms.
Ruth is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School where she graduated cum laude, in 1998. In addition to graduating with honors, she was a Lisle Merit Scholar and an Edward V. Sparer Public Interest Law Fellow. Ruth also worked in the Federal Litigation Clinic, and as a research assistant for Professor Normal Poser in the area of securities and contract law.
Prior to attending Brooklyn Law School, Ruth graduated from Oberlin College with a B.A. in Philosophy.
